Frames beta version 1.1 update
There’s been alot of improvements to the Frames Animation software. From bug fixes, quality of life improvements, performance update and new features. Below are the updates.
Beta V.1.1 updates:
- Adjusted drawing pixel size correction based on canvas scale including overscan areas.
- Fixed the Fill tolerance option. Now properly works based on value. New default changed to 120 instead of 32 (Max. now 255).
- Enabled canvas control in onion skin transform, and keyboard nudges. (Shift arrow key 10px, arrow key 1px).
- Fixed the tool options not remembering the values after loaded file is opened.
- Fixed saving a project folder as just a file bug.
- Fixed colour swatches not been saved in a project.
- Fixed animatic audio playback not resetting in playback loop.
- Changed the display on top left of animatic editor to show shot number and now hover to display shot description.
- Fixed animatic render to calculate only playback range.
- Improved video export speeds (GPU accelerated).
- Added warning when navigating away from project or closing app without saving.
- Added keyboard shortcuts for tools and pencil continue tool option (“C”), and animatic tool selection (“A”). Others show on cursor hover
- Added shortcuts [ and ] keys for 1px brush size adjustment.
- Added audio track volume control with right click.
- Added storyboard timeline shot skipping with keyboard arrow keys.
- Fixed colour palette consistency when moving from different shots.
- Added colour palette naming and new delete features. And colour pallete reorder colours as needed.
- Added audio split feature in storyboard timeline and audio files on same track.
- Added shot handoff and handoff import for sending out shots or panels for collaboration.
- Added support for keyframe selection and movement of multiple layers at once, and adjusted secondary keyframe view overlapping in thumbnail timeline.
- Fixed pixel transform rotation degredation especially in aliased pixels.
- Added named export for animation sequences.
- Fixed video export crash when no audio available.
