Animation Apostles Monthly Contest: Official Rules and Guidelines
Welcome to the Animation Apostles Monthly Animation Contest. We created this global platform for animators, digital artists, and storytellers to produce inspiring, uplifting, and purpose-driven work.
Whether you focus on 2D frame-by-frame, 2D vectoring, 3D art, stop-motion, or mixed media, this is your space to sharpen your skills, share meaningful stories, and connect with a creative community while competing for monthly cash prizes.
Monthly Contest Schedule
The contest follows a straightforward monthly cycle split into five clear stages:
Theme and Scripture Release (Day 1): We post the official topic and inspiration scriptures across our channels.
Submissions Close (Late Month): You must turn in your final entry before midnight on the deadline date.
Shortlist Announcement: Our team selects and posts the top 3 entries.
Community Voting Window: Public online voting opens so the community can support their favorite shortlisted work.
Independent Judging and Winner Announcement: Final scores are calculated using a mix of public votes and judge evaluations. The winner is then officially announced.
Official Contest Rules
1. Theme and Scriptural Interpretation
Every month features a core topic paired with specific Bible verses.
Creative Reference: You do not need to make a literal, word-for-word adaptation of the passage. Use the provided scriptures as a spiritual foundation or creative launching pad for your animation.
Grading Focus: Entries are scored on creative storytelling, artistic vision, and technical execution.
2. Human Artistry and AI Policy
No AI-Generated Animations: We prioritize human craft and technique. Fully AI-generated video or automated animation tools are strictly prohibited.
Behind-The-Scenes (BTS) Proof: Shortlisted creators must send a quick process snippet or file proof (such as timeline screenshot(s) or project files) before we declare a winner.
3. Judging and Voting Structure
We choose winners through a mix of public input and panel scoring:
Judge Evaluation: Independent judges score shortlisted entries based on creativity, artistic execution, narrative strength, and how well the artwork reflects the theme.
Community Voting: Public votes offer extra bonus points toward your final score, but high vote counts alone do not guarantee a win.
4. Content Guidelines
Prohibited Content: Explicit, sexually suggestive, or overly violent content is strictly forbidden. Submissions with inappropriate material are disqualified immediately.
Tone and Purpose: Your artwork should reflect values of light, hope, transformation, and positive encouragement.
